Winter Activities

Mariborsko Pohorje is an excellent destination for spending winter holidays on ski slopes in the close vicinity of the city. Ski runs for all levels of skills, snow boarding, cross-country tracks and toboggan runs, ski school, attractive floodlit night skiing, adrenaline park, horse riding and carriage, torchlight processions... It’s the Golden Fox, one of the most resounding and best visited competitions for the World Cup in skiing for women, venue.

Maribor is set in a wonderful natural surroundings and wine growing hills which offers unforgettable experiences. The list is long when it comes to activities and nice attractions. Here you can go for wine tasting in Stara Trta -The Old Vine House or go for a stroll around the old town and look at the medieval towers.
