During the summer months you can meet people from in the past and experience the local culture up close. In the winter there is a traditional Christmas market. At Jamtli, there is a subterranean landscape with one of Sweden’s weirdest exhibitions, which magically weaves the history of Norrland. There is also the 1000-year-old Överhogdal hangings, Europe’s oldest and best-preserved textile picture. The museum has been awarded with three stars in the Guide Michelin.
